Utilizing a groundbreaking game, or at the very least it was back in 1988, leveling system, Infernax is an old school adventure platformer game with features of puzzle. This is a completely new and innovative style and since nobody has yet done anything similar to similar, we’ll call the game ourselves: ARPG, which means Awesomely Radical Playing… game. patent in the process of being filed.
We wanted to understand what it was like to play games that our kids played, for inspiration, and to identify the elements which inspired us to design our own games.
It’s a recreation of our experience as children playing mysterious NES videos. It left us with a sense of pride when it was finally completed several months later.
Infernax, set in the early years of the Crusades, is the tale of a great Crusader, who is returning home and finding it cursed by unholy wizardry.
